DROPMORE SCARLET TRUMPET HONEYSUCKLE Lonicera x brownii ‘Dropmore Scarlet Trumpet’ Probably the best flowering vine for the prairies. Bright orange red flowers are profuse in spring and continue all summer. Not susceptible to the honeysuckle aphid. Woody Vine: Easily climbs to 3m (10 ft). Sometimes grown as a mounding shrub or groundcover. Foliage: Lustrous and thick. Terminal leaves frequently form a complete circle around the stem. Flowers: Bright orange with red inside. Very showy.
