MINUET LILAC Syringa x prestoniae 'Minuet'
The Minuet Lilac is a late blooming lilac which stays as a dense compact plant. It is one of the smallest of the hardy lilacs and does not sucker.
Flowering Shrub: Height to 1.5 m (4 to 5 ft.) with dense foliage and close branching.
Foliage: Dark green, course textured.
Flowers: Fragrant, light purple colour. Flowers profusely.
Comments: This is a reliable plant that always flowers in early summer. It does not have any of the bad habits that are usually associated with lilacs. Worthy of much wider use.
