SILVERLEAF DOGWOOD Cornus alba 'Argenteo-marginata' The creamy white variegation on the leaves of the Silverleaf Dogwood make it truly unique among the shrubs. It is fully hardy. This shrub is very showy, especially when planted in groups. It does well in full sun or partial shade. Shrub: Height to 1.5 m (4 to 5 ft.) with loose arching branches. Foliage: Large white and green variegated leaves give the plant a somewhat course texture. Flowers: Yellowish white, not showy. Fruit: A small white berry which is not showy. Comments: This shrub is more compact and neat than most other dogwoods. Excellent for adding interest to the landscape. | |||||||||
