DRAGON'S BLOOD SEDUM Sedum spurium
Also called: STONECROP
Dragon's Blood Sedum is a reliable, low maintenance, and pest free groundcover that thrives in the most difficult of places. Can be used from moderate shade to full sun. It colours up best in full sun.
Perennial groundcover: Height 15cm (6in). Spreads by above ground runners. Although it will form a weed resistant mat it is very compatible with other perennials.
Foliage: very fine textured fleshy leaves with strong blood red color in full sun.
Flowers: Pink but not very showy.
Comments: Dragon's Blood Sedum is a very hardy ground cover that is worthy of much wider use.
