DAKOTA CENTENNIAL GREEN ASH Fraxinus pensylvanica 'Dakota Centennial' The Dakota Centennial Green Ash has been selected for its strong central leader, earlier greening in the spring, longer leaf retention, and stout branching. Although relatively new on the market it is rapidly becoming the boulevard tree of choice. Shade tree: Height 12m (40ft). Foliage: Leaves are born in groups of seven. Forms a dense canopy. Fruit: These trees are all male. Thus there is no fruit of any kind--no seeds to sprout in unwanted places. These trees are neat and tidy. Fall Colour: Yellow. Comments: The Green Ash is a large reliable drought resistant tree. Great specimen tree. | |||||||||
