HEYER #12 APPLE
Fruit: -Up to 2.5 inches;
-round yellowish green;
-flesh is creamy white and course;
-flavour is bland but acidic;
-good for cooking, juice, but poor for fresh eating;
-breaks down quickly in storage;
-ripens in mid August.
Tree: Open growth habit with good strong branching.
Comments: Fire blight resistant and exceptionally hardy, to Zone 1b.
