ORNAMENTAL APPLES Malus Seedlings
These are seedlings of decorative apples collected on the U of S campus. Although quite variable, they can be expected to have deep pink flowers, reddish leaves all summer, and bright decorative fruit.
Small tree: Height 6m (20ft).
Foliage: Ranging from deep green to quite red.
Flowers: Variable but mostly deep pink.
Fruit: Bright red ranging in size from berry like up to one inch in diameter.
Comments: These trees will be vigorous and hardy. Great for naturalizing or wildlife plantings. They are great for adding interest to the larger garden.
