CORONATION TRIUMPH POTENTILLA Potentilla fruiticosa 'Coronation Triumph'
Various forms of this hardy shrub are native on the prairies. The Coronation Triumph Potentilla is a small compact shrub which is valued for its yellow flowers which are on display for most of the summer.
Small Shrub: Height 75cm (2.5ft).
Foliage: Fine textured compound leaves.
Flowers: Bright yellow; blooms over a very long season.
Fruit: Not significant.
Comments: The potentillas work well where a small shrub that doesn't need shearing is required. Although somewhat slow to green up in the spring this plant is very showy all summer long.
