WATERTON MOCKORANGE Philadelphus lewisii 'Waterton' The Waterton Mockorange is the hardiest of the mockoranges. Although it displays the same abundance of showy white flowers as the other mockoranges it is not very fragrant. Medium Shrub: Height 2 m (5 to 7ft). Foliage: Medium textured, dark green. Flowers: The profusion of large white flowers is very showy. It blooms in late June early July when most of the other flowering shrubs are done. Comments: Although the mockoranges are not very commonly used, they certainly are noticed when in bloom. A mockorange in bloom is a definite conversation starter. | |||||||||
