GALAHAD MOCKORANGE Philadelphus x 'Galahad' The Galahad Mockorange is valued for its large clear white flowers that are very fragrant--similar to the smell of orange blossoms--hence the name. Their late June, early July period of bloom make them stand out in the garden because few shrubs bloom during this time. Small Shrub: Height 1.2 to 1.5 m (4 to 5 ft). Foliage: Medium textured, dark green. Flowers: Abundant large white flowers are very showy and very fragrant. When in bloom, this plant will be the focal point of the garden. Comments: Although this mockorange is not as hardy as the Waterton Mockorange, its wonderful fragrance makes it worthy of trial. | |||||||||
