HERBACEOUS YELLOW POTENTILLA Potentilla spp. Herbaceous Potentilla flowers in May and June and sometimes most of the summer. Although it spreads a little every year, it is not invasive. Perennial Groundcover: Height 15cm (6in) and spreading. Foliage: Evergreen, but it doesn't get its bright crisp look until the new leaves appear in the spring. Flowers: Yellow, five-petals, buttercup-like. Comments: This seldom seen plant forms a reliable mat of fresh green foliage and yellow flowers. Use in full sun or partial shade.
