CRANESBILL GERANIUM Geranium macrorrhizum The Cranesbill Geranium is a true perennial which regrows from the roots every year. The purplish pink flowers are nestled in a compact mound of fragrant foliage. Perennial: Height 35cm (15in) and about twice as wide. Foliage: Typical fragrant geranium leaves. Flowers: Purplish pink; up to 2 in across; not as showy as the bedding plant geraniums that are more correctly called Pelargonium. Comments: The compact mounds of foliage appear year after year. Although the flowers are not very showy, this plant will become a valued part of any perennial collection. PLANT FINDER PERENNIAL INDEX HOME
