SWEDISH COLUMNAR ASPEN     Populus tremula 'Erecta'

The Swedish Aspen is a strongly columnar tree closely related to the native trembling aspen. It is fast growing and provides a strong accent where there isn't room for a broader tree.

Shade tree: Height 9m (30ft).

Foliage: Circular leaves are green on both sides with a wavy margin.

Fall Colour: Yellow.

Comments: The Swedish Aspen typically grows three stories tall with a width of six feet or less. It is truly unique. The uppermost branches of this tree often have a twisted appearance.
