GREEN ASH (Male Clone) Fraxinus pensylvanica These Green Ash have been grafted using scion wood from very well structured male specimens. The formation of potentially weedy seeds is thus eliminated. They retain all the features that make the Green Ash a very reliable shade tree. Shade tree: Height 12m (40ft). Foliage: Leaves a born in groups of seven. Forms a dense canopy. Fruit: These trees are all male clones. Thus there are no fruit or seeds that sometimes sprout in unwanted places. These trees are neat and tidy. Fall Colour: Yellow Comments: The green ash is a large reliable drought resistant tree. It is equally at home in the front yard or the farm shelterbelt. | |||||||||
