SWISS STONE PINE Pinus cembra
This very hardy but slow growing tree has often been called the most sensuous of all trees. The long flexible blue green needles are probably the most resistant to winter browning of any of our evergreens.
Evergreen tree: Height 10m (30ft)
Foliage: Long luxurious needles are born in groups of five. This tree remains very dense over the years.
Fruit: 2 inch cones contain pea sized pine nuts.
Comments: Truly a rare and unique specimen tree.
