Fruit: -Up to 1.75 inches;
-skin is golden overlaid with a reddish brown wash on the sunny side;
-fruit is egg shaped;
-flesh is golden yellow, crunchy, juicy with a spicy tart flavour;
-excellent for fresh eating, good for canning and juice;
-stores for 6 weeks;
-ripens in September.

Tree: Bears at an early age.

Comments: This apple is very hardy (to Zone 1a). It is highly resistant to fire blight. Makes a wonderful lunch box apple. If you haven't had luck with apples, this is the one to try.
